Qatari delegation discuss the restoration of flights in Damascus

YEREVAN, 23 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. A delegation from Qatar Airways, the national airline of Qatar, discussed with the new Syrian authorities the resumption of international flights, airport security, and training, according to Al Jazeera TV channel.

According to the channel’s source, the Qatar Airways delegation discussed issues related to airport rehabilitation and the facilitation of international flights with representatives of the new Syrian administration.

The Qatari airline representatives also addressed Doha’s support for ensuring the security of Damascus International Airport, training technical personnel, and the potential development of ground navigation systems and control rooms at the airport.
