Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting on reports regarding an alleged request by the wife of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for "special permission to leave the Russian Federation," stated that the claims do not correspond to reality, Ria Novosti repored.
"No, it doesn't match," Peskov said in response to journalists' questions about the allegations that Assad's wife intended to divorce him and leave Russia.
