YEREVAN, DECEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. During a solemn ceremony held on December 13 at the Élysée Palace, Arman Khachatryan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to France, handed over the credentials to Emmanuel Macron, the President of the French Republic, according to a statement issued by the Embassy of Armenia in France.
Following the ceremony, President Macron congratulated Ambassador Khachatryan on his appointment and wished him success in advancing the privileged relations between the two countries.
Expressing gratitude for the warm wishes, Ambassador Khachatryan reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation. He emphasized the Armenian government’s desire to expand and strengthen the strategic partnership and multi-sectoral collaboration with friendly France.
They also exchanged views on developments in the South Caucasus and discussed ongoing efforts by the Armenian government to establish lasting and just peace in the region.
