Pashinyan taps Davit Arushanyan for Governor of Shirak

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Friday he will nominate Davit Arushanyan for the position of Governor of Shirak.

Arushanyan’s candidacy must be approved by the Cabinet.

If approved, he will replace Mushegh Muradyan, who resigned on December 12.

Arushanyan was the runner-up in the Gyumri mayoral primaries.
