Upper Lars checkpoint reopens to all vehicle types

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS.The Upper Lars checkpoint on the Georgian-Russian border is now open to all types of vehicles, according to the press service of the Federal State Institution Rosgranstroy of the Russian Federation.

Rosgranstroy has announced the restoration of traffic for trucks through the Upper Lars checkpoint.

The road was closed to all vehicles on November 26 due to deteriorating weather conditions. On November 29, traffic was reopened to passenger cars.

"Currently, traffic is open for freight, passenger and transport vehicles due to improved weather conditions," clarified Rosgranstroy.
