Stepanstminda-Lars highway closed for trucks

 YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS. Some roads in the Republic of Armenia are closed or difficult to pass. The road linking the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is currently closed.

According to the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, roads in the Alagyaz- Artik, Ashotsk, Amasia, and Aragats regions are difficult for trucks to pass due to black ice in some areas.

The Rescue Service advises drivers to use winter tires.

The Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for trucks, according to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia.
