PM Pashinyan invites Uruguay’s new President to pay official visit to Armenia

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 29, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has congratulated Uruguay’s new President Yamandu Orsi on his election. 

In a letter addressed to Orsi, the Armenian PM congratulated him on his election and wished great successes in the responsible and high mission. “I am certain that during your term friendly Uruguay will continue the steady course of economic development, human rights protection and strengthening of democracy,” Pashinyan added. 

“I highly value the historically friendly ties between Armenia and Uruguay and I am glad to note that the relations have entered a new phase in the recent years. The big Armenian community of Uruguay also has significant role in the deepening of partnership between our states. I’d like to express my readiness to work together and enrich our bilateral agenda for the benefit of our friendly peoples and countries,” Pashinyan said.

He also extended an invitation to the new President of Uruguay to pay an official visit to Armenia.
