Armenian Prime Minister holds meeting with delegation from German Bundestag

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with a visiting delegation led by Member of the Bundestag (German parliament), Chair of the Committee on European Affairs Anton Hofreiter.

PM Pashinyan welcomed the delegation’s visit to Armenia and was pleased to note the intensified cooperation with Germany in various sectors. PM Pashinyan attached importance to interparliamentary cooperation, including in international platforms.

The sides discussed issues related to the Armenia-EU relations and development of the ties, as well as the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia with EU support.

The course of discussions around the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty, Armenia’s stance in this context, and the delimitation process were touched upon. The activity of the EU civilian monitoring mission in Armenia was highlighted in terms of ensuring regional stability.

Ideas were exchanged on other issues of regional significance.
