Armenian Speaker of Parliament visits Ho Chi Minh mausoleum in Hanoi

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS. Speaker of Parliament of Armenia Alen Simonyan and members of his delegation paid tribute to the founder of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi on Tuesday as part of their official visit to the country.

The delegation then visited the Temple of Literature where they explored the history and development of the first university in Vietnam, Viet Nam News reports.

Built in 1070 under the Ly Dynasty, the Temple of Literature has been a symbol of knowledge and education system of Vietnam.

The official visit to Vietnam by the Armenian National Assembly President from November 17 -23 is the first visit by a head of the Armenian legislature during more than 30 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
