Real Armenia’s citizen is the one who doesn’t search for new homeland – PM

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. The citizen of real Armenia is the one who doesn’t search for a homeland outside Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said.

Speaking at parliamentary debates of the 2025 state budget, Pashinyan said he has read the Declaration of Independence dozens of times during the past years. “And I have reached a horrifying conclusion that the content of the Declaration of Independence is that the Republic of Armenia cannot exist. And this is our biggest problem and tragedy,” Pashinyan told lawmakers.

“The citizen of the real Armenia is the one who doesn’t seek a homeland or state outside of here,” Pashinyan said, pointing to the map of Armenia and speaking about the real Armenia, and about who is the citizen of the real Armenia. “Because they have searched for it over and over again, and found their homeland, the Republic of Armenia.”

Real Armenia is a concept adopted by PM Pashinyan’s government.
