Azerbaijan describes recent Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting in Kazan as “very productive”

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. A top official in the Aliyev administration has said that the recent meeting between the Armenian Prime Minister and the Azeri President in Russia has created “positive signals” for the continuation of the talks. 

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia and discussed the ongoing peace process. 

“A very productive meeting took place in Kazan between the Azerbaijani President and the Armenian Prime Minister, and we plan to continue the negotiations based on those signals,” TASS news agency quoted Hikmet Hajiyev, President Aliyev’s assistant, as saying.
