Parliamentary committee approves 2025 state budget bill

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. The parliamentary committee on financial-credit and budgetary affairs has approved the 2025 state budget bill submitted by the Pashinyan administration. 

The budget envisages 733 billion drams in capital expenditures, a 5,4% increase compared to 2024. 

56% of the capital expenditures will be directed to the defense sector.

Defense spending will amount to 664 billion drams, which is 20% higher compared to 2024.

Social protection expenditures will be 14% higher, amounting to 905 billion drams.
