Baroness Caroline Cox visits Armenia

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan has received Baroness Caroline Cox, Member of the House of Lords of the UK, who has arrived in Armenia to participate in the reopening of the Lady Cox Rehabilitation Center.

Hovhannisyan expressed gratitude to Baroness Cox for the many years of friendship and support to Armenia and the Armenian people, the foreign ministry said in a readout.

Baroness Cox praised the Armenian government’s comprehensive steps aimed at addressing the needs of the forcibly displaced persons of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The sides discussed opportunities for joint efforts in the humanitarian area and touched upon the Armenian-British agenda. 

Deputy FM Hovhannisyan presented latest regional developments, as well as developments in the Armenia-EU partnership agenda and the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process.
