YEREVAN, OCTOBER 28, ARMENPRESS. The number of tourists who visited Armenia in January-September decreased 6,9%, Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan has said.

“In January-September, the decrease in the number of tourists visiting Armenia amounted to 6,9%, which was mostly associated with the 21,6% decrease in the number of tourists from Russia. The number of tourists from other countries grew nearly 8,4%, mostly contributed by tourist visits from Georgia, Iran, China and India,” Hovhannisyan said at a parliament committee hearing on next year's budget.
