YEREVAN, OCTOBER 18, ARMENPRESS. If parliamentary elections were held in Armenia next Sunday, 20 percent would vote for the "Civil Contract" party, 4 percent for "Prosperous Armenia," and 2 percent for the opposition alliance "Hayastan" (Armenia), according to the International Republican Institute’s public opinion survey.
Data were collected through telephone interviews conducted from September 13 to 25, 2024, among approximately 1,503 individuals, including citizens of Armenia and forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh who now live in Armenia.
According to the survey results, respondents expressed the highest level of trust in Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, with 16 percent. According to the survey, Ararat Mirzoyan received 4 percent, Aram Sargsyan - 4 percent, Alen Simonyan – 2 percent, and Robert Kocharyan- 2 percent. Notably, 61 percent of respondents indicated that they do not trust anyone.
When asked which political force they would vote for if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, 20 percent of respondents named the ruling "Civil Contract" party, 4 percent mentioned "Prosperous Armenia," 2 percent named the "My Step" alliance, 2 percent the alliance "Hayastan" (Armenia), 2 percent the Republican Party, 2 percent the ARF Dashnaktsutyun party, and 1 percent for Robert Kocharyan's party.
