Armenian and Azerbaijani Parliament Speakers' meeting canceled

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 14, ARMENPRESS. The scheduled meeting in Geneva between Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan and Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova has been canceled, the press secretary for the Armenian National Assembly Speaker Movses Harutyunyan  has said on Facebook.

Harutyunyan stated that the Azerbaijani side withdrew from the previously agreed arrangement at the last moment.

It was also noted that the Armenian National Assembly Speaker will provide further clarification on the reasons for the cancellation after returning to Yerevan.
