Armenia advancing in technological development - Rodrigo Messi

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 7, ARMENPRESS. Armenia is advancing in terms of technological development,  Rodrigo Messi, the brother of world-famous Argentinian football player Lionel Messi said.

He praised Armenia's progress in technological development during his speech at the World Congress on Innovation and Technology (WCIT2024/DigiTec). The event was also attended by Armenia's Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan.

Messi expressed his gratitude for the invitation, saying, "I thank Armenia and the Armenian people for the warm welcome. I see how Armenia continues to advance in the field of technology." He also shared his satisfaction with both the conference and his visit to Yerevan.

He also said that the development of Armenia in terms of technology would be continuous.

After the speech, Rodrigo Messi and his team will have meetings with the Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan to discuss future cooperation plans and opportunities.

In 2022, global football superstar Lionel Messi founded a holding company with the primary goal of investing in sports, media, and technology worldwide.

San Francisco-based Play Time Sports-Tech HoldCo LLC is Messi’s main investment vehicle. It is managed by Razmik Hovakimyan, a partner at Graph Ventures, who conveyed Elon Musk's greetings to the conference participants during the WCIT2024/DigiTec panel discussion.
