Lebanon’s caretaker PM meets Iranian Foreign Minister in Beirut

YEREVAN, 4 OCTOBER, ARMENPRESS. Lebanon's caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati had a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Beirut.

The parties discussed the current situation in Lebanon and regional developments.

According to the state news agency of Lebanon,  Araghchi reaffirmed Iran's support for Lebanon in the face of Israeli aggression and announced that Tehran plans to launch a diplomatic campaign, including a request for a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
