‘Shoulder to shoulder’, Macron reiterates support for Armenia

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. French President Emmanuel Macron has reiterated support for Armenia.

Speaking at the UN General Assembly in New York City, Macron said that France stands “shoulder to shoulder” with Armenia when the latter is facing Azerbaijani pressure and territorial ambitions.

“Together with the Prime Minister [Pashinyan], France stands shoulder to shoulder with Armenia in conditions of Azerbaijani pressure and territorial intentions. The international community must be there to ensure the success of peace talks and preservation of the internationally recognized borders,” the French President said in his speech.
