YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. The Cabinet on September 26 approved the 2025 state budget draft.
Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said at the Cabinet meeting that the budget envisages 2 trillion 873 billion drams in revenues, from which 2,76 trillion is tax revenue.
He said they expect to improve the tax-GDP ratio as a result of improvements in tax administration, fight against shadow economy, as well as other tax policies. The ratio will reach the 25% envisaged under the government program, he said.
“The state budget expenditures are envisaged to be 3 trillion 482 billion drams,” he said, elaborating that 2 trillion 749 million will be current expenditures while 733 billion drams will be capital expenditures.
“The share of capital expenditures in the GDP in 2025 will reach 6,6%,” he said.
