Armenia’s Emma Poghosyan wins gold at 2024 World Junior Weightlifting Championships

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Armenian weightlifter Emma Poghosyan has won gold in the 81kg women’s category of the 2024 World Junior Weightlifting Championships in Leon, Spain.

The member of the Armenian women’s weightlifting team won gold with a total result of 233kg (100kg snatch, 133kg clean and jerk) and became the champion in her category.

Armenia’s Alexandra Grigoryan and Anna Amroyan had earlier won bronze medals.
