Pashinyan says Turkiye obviously changed perception about Armenia

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Armenia should establish diplomatic relations with Turkiye and its land border must be opened, PM Nikol Pashinyan has said.

“If I were to put myself in the role of an observer following the discussions in Turkiye, I wouldn’t say that there’ve been very big changes in perceptions, but there have been changes in some perceptions in Turkiye, it is obvious. And I can’t underestimate the discussions and negotiations taking place between the special representatives of Armenia and Turkiye, which don’t have big results practically but it is very important that the two countries are communicating. And the things that were being discussed through public statements in the past, now we have the opportunity to discuss, clarify and receive clarifications also through diplomatic channels,” Pashinyan said, highlighting the exchange of information.
