PM Pashinyan doesn’t rule out importing Azeri gas in the future

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan hasn't ruled out the possibility of importing gas from Azerbaijan in the future.

“We import gas from Russia, we import gas from Iran too,” Pashinyan said at the Global Armenian Summit when asked about energy security. “Some time ago statements were made in Azerbaijan that in the future Armenia could import gas from Azerbaijan after the establishment of peace. If we imagine a transit pipeline passing through Armenia’s territory, for example, towards Nakhchivan and Turkiye, this option can’t be ruled out too,” Pashinyan said.
