Georgia ready to contribute to ensuring regional stability, says PM Kobakhidze

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. Georgia welcomes the positive course in the direction of resolving the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said after his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Tbilisi.

“Georgia supports peace and stability in South Caucasus. Our efforts, particularly in the direction of overcoming the existing difficulties in the region continue. Georgia supports the positive course in the direction of resolving the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. And we are ready to have a role in ensuring stability,” the Georgian Prime Minister said.

He said he discussed with his Armenian counterpart the relationship between Armenia and Georgia. PM Kobakhidze thanked PM Pashinyan for the visit and for his contribution in developing the Armenian-Georgian relationship.
