Azerbaijan rejects Armenia's proposal to sign peace treaty based on agreed provisions

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS.  The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has opposed Armenia's proposal to sign a peace treaty based on the provisions already agreed upon, while continuing discussions on the unresolved issues.

The spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry Aykhan Hajizada stated that the offer is unacceptable to them. He emphasized that the peace treaty can only be signed once all provisions are agreed upon.

Hajizada also reiterated Azerbaijan's unfounded accusations against Armenia and made an absurd claim about changes to the Armenian Constitution.
