European Commission Vice-President to visit Armenia for launch of visa liberalization dialogue

BRUSSELS, SEPTEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. European Commission Vice-President Margaritis Schinas will visit Armenia on September 9 to launch the visa liberalization dialogue.

Schinas will have meetings with President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to discuss the launch of the EU-Armenia visa liberalization dialogue and other sectors of partnership.

The European Commission, announcing Schinas’ visit, said in a statement that the start of the dialogue is a strong signal by the EU and its member states on the commitment to deepen the strong partnership with Armenia.
