Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry emphasizes domestic production of military equipment

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan on Wednesday visited a military-industrial company specializing in the development and production of unmanned aerial systems.

According to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, the minister, accompanied by the company's head, toured the area and familiarized himself with the company's products and services.

The product range includes the development of UAVs and their components, UAV production and maintenance, the creation of internal control systems and software, as well as the development of metal parts and composite materials.

Minister Hayrapetyan emphasized the importance of domestic  production of military equipment and the introduction of the latest technologies into them. He highlighted the state's special attention to this sector and expressed readiness to address existing challenges through both situational operational measures and systemic solutions to ensure sector development.

As a result of the meeting, several agreements were reached to effectively address the challenges and elevate the level of cooperation.
