Armenia and Kazakhstan mark 25th anniversary of signing Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS. September 2nd marked the 25th anniversary of signing The Treaty on Friendship & Cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry described the agreement a “milestone document” outlining the “principles and priorities” of the ties between the two countries.

“Today marks the 25th anniversary of signing The Treaty on Friendship & Cooperation between Republic of Armenia & Republic of Kazakhstan, which outlines the principles & priorities of our relations based on future-oriented strategic cooperation. This milestone document determines the guidelines for the development of partnership between Yerevan & Astana in the spirit of long-standing traditions of mutual respect & understanding,” the Armenian Foreign Ministry said on X on Monday. 

The Kazakh Foreign Ministry also posted on X, saying, “Today, we commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Armenia, a testament to our enduring close collaboration oriented on future strategic cooperation.”
