Switzerland to hold military exercises with France

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. Switzerland will hold military exercises with France on September 3-4, according to the Swiss government.

"Several training modules are planned for September 3 and 4, 2024, in Swiss and French airspace. Four F/A-18 fighter jets from the Swiss Air Force and four Rafale fighter jets from the French Navy will take part. The French Rafales, normally stationed at the Landivisiau Naval Air Base, will spend a night at the Payerne Air Base during the joint training,"  the Swiss government has announced.

It was noted that the aim of the training is to test the planning, implementation, and debriefing of air defense exercises, as well as to promote the exchange of experience.
