Exports of Armenian goods, excluding gold, drops 4%

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. Armenia recorded 2,3 times growth in exports in the first half of 2024, however exports of locally produced goods (excluding gold exports) dropped around 4%, according to finance minister Vahe Hovhannisyan.

“We recorded 2,3 times growth in exports of goods in January-June 2024, however the exports of Armenian goods, without gold exports, decreased around 4%. The growth of imports is 86,5%, the imports decreased 6,7% without the re-export effect,” Hovhannisyan told Members of Parliament at a committee hearing on the budget execution.
