Armenian women's shooting team wins silver at European Championship

YEREVAN, AUGUST 28, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian women's shooting team won the silver medal at the European Championship. 

According to the Shooting Federation of Armenia, the trio of Gohar Harutyunyan, Lilit Mkrtchyan, and Arusyak Grigoryan took the silver medal with a score of 1,649 points.

The European Running Target Championship has started in Plzeň, Czech Republic.

On the first day of the competition, the adult shooters competed. Gohar Harutyunyan was named the best in the women’s 10-meter running target competition. 

Harutyunyan won 6:2 in the semi-final and 6:1 in the final against her Ukrainian opponents, securing the title of champion. 

In the same competition, Arusyak Grigoryan placed 5th with 550 points, and Lilit Mkrtchyan took 7th place with 547 points. In the men's competition, Hovhannes Margaryan placed 12th with 556 points.
