Slovakian president meets Fico for first time since assassination attempt

YEREVAN, AUGUST 27, ARMENPRESS. Slovak President Peter Pellegrini held his first official meeting with Prime Minister Robert Fico since the May 15 assassination attempt, according to TASR news agency.

"This is the first official meeting with Prime Minister Robert Fico since the assassination attempt on him in May," the agency quoted the president as saying.

"The attack on the head of government was an attack on  democracy in Slovakia," Pellegrini mentioned.
