U.S. Ambassador, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs meet women police officers

YEREVAN, AUGUST 24, ARMENPRESS. United States Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien and Armenian Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan met with 20 women officers from different police departments to underscore the importance of women’s participation and leadership in policing, the U.S. Embassy said in a press release.

“The United States is proud to work with Armenia to promote gender equality in law enforcement and throughout society,” the embassy added.
