Event celebrating Armenia-Germany friendship held at Sardarapat school

YEREVAN, AUGUST 6, ARMENPRESS. An event called "Friendship Bridge" was held in the village of Sardarapat, Armavir enlarged community, symbolizing the friendly ties between Armenia and Germany.

 Governor of the Armavir region of the Republic of Armenia, David Khudatyan, reported on his Facebook page that on August 5, he attended an event organized at the Sardarapat school. The event was also attended by the head of the Armavir community, Varsham Sargsyan; the mayor of the city of Naumburg in Saxony-Anhalt, Federal Republic of Germany, Armin Müller; and the Honorary Consul in Armenia, Michael Schmidt, along with other members of the delegation.

 It is noted that students from 19 schools in the region, where the German language is taught, spoke at the event.

The participants of the event presented the history, culture, and traditions of Armenia in German, followed by a question-and-answer session with the schoolchildren.
