Defense Minister expresses gratitude to EU and member states for decision to support Armenia

YEREVAN, JULY 22, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan extended his gratitude to the European Union and its member states for deciding to support Armenia under the European Peace Facility.

"I extend my gratitude to the European Union and its member states for their decision to support Armenia under the European Peace Facility.

This partnership effort, grounds in mutual trust and shared interests between Armenia and the EU, aims to strengthen Armenia’s defence capabilities.

I am confident that this initiative will give a new charge to closer cooperation with our partner EU member countries in both bilateral and multilateral formats," tge Defense Minister said in a post on X.
