Defense Minister Papikyan receives the Head of the European Union Delegation

YEREVAN, JULY 18, ARMENPRESS. On July 18, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, received the Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Armenia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Vassilis Maragos, the defense ministry said.

During the meeting, topics related to defence cooperation within the context of the Armenia-EU partnership, as well as regional security issues, were discussed.

Upon the Ambassador’s request, the Minister of Defence, Suren Papikyan, provided an overview of the ongoing reforms within the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
