Pashinyan and Georgian Defense Minister exchanged views on strengthening defense partnership

YEREVAN, JULY 13, ARMENPRESS․ Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani. Pashinyan noted that relations between Armenia and Georgia are at a high level, and emphasized the importance of Mr. Chikovani’s visit, he also emphasized that Armenia is interested in deepening and developing multidisciplinary cooperation with Georgia, according to the statement from Department for Information and Public Relations of the Office of the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister called the partnership between the defense departments of the two countries effective. Irakli Chikovani emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Armenia and the programs for its expansion.

 The interlocutors exchanged views on strengthening partnerships in the defense sector, as well as issues of regional security and stability.
