Hungarian PM Orban meets former U.S. President Trump

YEREVAN, JULY 12, ARMENPRESS. Former U.S. President Donald Trump met Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Florida.

In a post on the social network X Orban called the visit "peace mission 5.0".

"We discussed ways to make peace. The good news of the day: he’s going to solve it!" he added.

In another post on X Orban said he continued the peace mission in Mar-a-Lago.

“President Donald Trump has proved during his presidency that he is a man of peace. He will do it again!” Orban wrote.

The Prime Minister of Hungary has publicly endorsed Trump's re-election bid and recently said there was a "very, very high chance" that President Joe Biden would lose the election.

On July 5, Orban met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, where the two sides discussed the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine and potential ways of starting peace negotiations. Earlier, on July 3, Orban was in Kyiv, where he discussed those issues with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. And on July 8, PM Orban met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
