Hakob Arshakyan thanked the Chinese Ambassador for his contribution to the development of relations between the two countries

 YEREVAN, JULY 11, ARMENPRESS. Vice President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Head of the Armenia-China Friendship Group Hakob Arshakyan expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of China for his contribution to the development of relations between the two countries. The Ambassador is completing his mission in Armenia.

Hakob Arshakyan has said in a post on X.

The message reads as follows:

“As the head of the Armenia-China Friendship Group of the National Assembly, I would like to thank the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Armenia, Ambassador Fan Yong, for his contribution to the development of relations between Armenia and China. He is completing his mission in Armenia.

Notably, during Mr. Fan's tenure, the official visit of the Armenia-China National Assembly Friendship Group headed by me to China took place, as a result of which our relations were given a new impetus, and the launch of direct flights from the Chinese city of Urumqi to Yerevan was confirmed, which will begin in September this year.

There is great potential between Armenia and China for the development of relations in the fields of education, science, infrastructure development, transport, tourism and other areas.

We will make additional efforts to realize these opportunities.”
