Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan has expressed readiness to hold further discussions with opposition MPs on their questions and concerns regarding the TRIPP agreement, in both open and closed formats.
In his concluding remarks during parliamentary debates on the ratification of the Charter of the Board of Peace, Mirzoyan said there had been little debate on the issue formally under consideration, with most of the discussion focusing on the previous agenda item, the TRIPP agreement.
The minister positively assessed the position expressed by the opposition Strong Armenia faction regarding the Charter of the Board of Peace and once again called on the opposition to support ratification of the TRIPP Framework Agreement as well.
“If there are still questions, if there are still concerns, as I said yesterday, I am ready to come and discuss them within the timeframe you proposed, in both open and closed formats,” he said.
