Pashinyan didn’t rule out the change Armenia-CSTOsituation if Belarus leaves the organization

YEREVAN, JUNE 13, ARMENPRESS. The situation in Armenia-CSTO might change if Belarus were to leave the organization, or if the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, were to apologize to the Armenian people, stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speechin the parliament

“Can anything change about the CSTO? Theoretically, it cannot be ruled out if, for example, Belarus decides to leave the CSTO or the President of Belarus says words of apology or explanation to the people of Armenia that will be acceptable to Armenians,”Pashinyan said.

Earlier, the prime minister recalled that the President of Belarus, a member of the CSTO, said that he participated in the preparation of the 44-day war, inspired, believed and wished for the victory of Azerbaijan. Pashinyan emphasized that he will not discuss any issues with him in the CSTO format. Pashinyan also stated that neither he nor any official representatives of the Republic of Armenia will visit Belarus while Alexander Lukashenko is the president of this country.

Armenia has frozen participation in the CSTO.
