Armenian Government aims to achieve the impossible through political efforts, says Pashinyan

YEREVAN, JUNE 12, ARMENPRESS. The Government of Armenia has adopted the peace agenda not because it believes it offers a 100-percent guarantee, but because it wants to exert political efforts to make even the impossible possible, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters at the National Assembly of Armenia Wednesday.

"We have adopted the peace agenda not because we believe it offers a 100-percent guarantee or that it is the most likely scenario. We have adopted this policy because we want to exert our political efforts to make even the impossible possible," said Pashinyan.

According to him, the greatest political failures and successes have been associated with opposing rational political logic. Pashinyan noted that at the time of the popular non-violent Velvet Revolution in 2018, all the arguments were about it being impossible.

"We created arguments that it was possible, believed in those arguments, and started to act. As a political team and the ruling majority, we made a political decision to take from the basket of arguments those that confirmed it was possible to go and act," said the Prime Minister.
