Support for forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh amount 39 Billion AMD

YEREVAN, JUNE 12, ARMENPRESS. The government of the Republic of Armenia faces significant challenges in providing social support for people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh in 2023,announced Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan the presentation of the annual report on the implementation of the 2023 state budget of the Republic of Armenia in the parliament.

“Financial allocations in this area were a key aspect of the 2023 state budget. The total expenses for addressing humanitarian and social issues related to forcibly displaced people amounted to approximately 39 billion AMD.

Additionally, this is only a part of the support directed towards the mentioned social problems through separate programs," saidKhachatryan.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the response of the Government of the Republic of Armenia in solving the social problems of our compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh was quick and systematic.
