YEREVAN, 3 JUNE, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov on Monday received the Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations of the US Department of State, and OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair from the US, Louis Bono.
Various aspects of the Azerbaijan-US bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda, as well as the regional peace process in the post-conflict period, were exchanged at the meeting, reports APA.
According to the source, Bayramov presented the situation in the region in the post-conflict period, the ongoing negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the settlement and peace process, as well as the recently achieved progress in the peace agenda.
According to Bayramov, the negotiations held at the level of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia on May 10-11 in Almaty also indicate the effectiveness of the bilateral peace process.
Louis Bono, for his part, expressed the readiness of the USA to support and contribute to the negotiation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
