Mkhitar Hayrapetyan received representatives of Armenian communication operators

YEREVAN, MAY 27, ARMENPRESS. On May 27, the Minister of High-tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, received representatives of Armenian communication operators to assess and eliminate the communication problems in the settlements affected by the flood.

The Ministry of High-tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia informs that it was mentioned at the meeting that a large amount of infrastructures were damaged as a result of the flood, and operative works are being carried out to restore them.

Short-term and long-term solutions to the problems that arose were discussed, including the need for legislative changes regarding the use of innovative solutions for laying communication cables during road construction.

The minister emphasized that the created operational working group includes employees of Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, are available 24 hours a day for the technical teams of the operators for every problem related to the connection restoration work.
