Pashinyan leads emergency response meeting for Lori and Tavush regions

YEREVAN, MAY 27, ARMENPRESS. Nikol Pashinyan, held a meeting of the operational headquarters of emergency situation management in Lori and Tavush regions, the Prime Minister wrote about this on his Facebook page, attaching a video to the post.

On May 26, floods occurred in Lori and Tavush regions as a result of heavy rains and overflowing of Debed, Aghstev, and Tashir rivers. As a result of floods, houses, buildings and structures were flooded, roads were destroyed. Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan said that 17 bridges have collapsed, 5 of which are large bridges. It will take a long time to restore them. As a result of the floods, the number of victims has reached 4.
