Prime Minister Pashinyan arrives in Egypt on an official visit

YEREVAN, MARCH 5, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has arrived in the Arab Republic of Egypt on a two-day official visit, according to a press release by the PM's office.

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, Prime Minister Pashinyan was warmly received by his Egyptian counterpart, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli. The ceremonial welcome included the stirring rendition of national anthems, setting the stage for productive discussions between the two leaders and their delegations.

Today's agenda includes an exclusive tête-à-tête between Prime Minister Pashinyan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, followed by a comprehensive meeting in an extended format.

During his stay, Prime Minister Pashinyan is set to hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Madbouli, Secretary General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Abdul Gheit, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II of the Coptic Orthodox Church, and Sheikh Ahmed Muhammad Al-Tayyib, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar.

In addition, Prime Minister Pashinyan will engage with leaders from the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, where he will have a meeting with Egyptian businessmen.
