BRUSSELS, DECEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. The EU Foreign Affairs Council has convened in Brussels to address various issues on the agenda, including the Russian aggression in Ukraine, the situation in Israel and the region, and others.
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who is currently in Brussels, participated in an informal breakfast ahead of the meeting.
Speaking to reporters, Mirzoyan said that it’s a good opportunity to share Armenia’s perception of deepening its relations with the EU.
“This is a very good opportunity to introduce what today’s Armenia is, what challenges we have, but also what opportunities and aspirations we have. This is a very good opportunity to share Armenia’s perception of deepening our relations with the EU,” Mirzoyan told reporters. He added that the meeting is also a good opportunity to express gratitude to the EU for its support to democratic reforms in Armenia, the assistance to the refugees from NK, and its support to the peace process and normalization with Azerbaijan.
