ICRC visits detained Azerbaijani troops in Armenia

YEREVAN, APRIL 19, ARMENPRESS. Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have visited the two detained Azerbaijani servicemen in Armenia, ICRC Armenia communications manager Zara Amatuni told ARMENPRESS.

The ICRC representatives held private conversations with the detainees, Amatuni added.

“During the visits the Azerbaijanis were given the opportunity to contact their family members through Red Cross correspondence,” she added.

Amatuni said they discuss matters relating to the state of health and condition of detention of the detainees only with the authorities.
