Armenian Prime Minister reaffirms invitation to Japanese counterpart to visit Armenia to discuss strengthening relations

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 23, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on the occasion of the Japanese National Day.

The message, released by the Prime Minister's Office, reads as follows:

"Your Excellency,

I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of the national holiday of Japan, the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan,

Last year we marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries. Armenia attaches great importance to the further deepening of friendly relations with Japan, based on common democratic values and mutual trust.

In the conditions of the numerous challenges and threats in the South Caucasus and in the world, Armenia is ready to expand the partnership with Japan in all areas of mutual interest. In this regard, I reaffirm my invitation to you to visit Armenia in order to discuss issues related to strengthening bilateral interstate relations.

I wish you good health and new success, and well-being and all the best to the friendly people of Japan."
